SMP small business photographer | Meet the locals Lularoe

Next I would like to introduce you to another hard working mom boss, meet my friend Katie!!! Shes a mama of two, a wife, and along with her full time job has also launched her own home based business selling the highly sought after, incredibly comfortable line of fashion known as LuLaRoe. I met up with her family about a week ago to photograph a line of her clothing, and her beautiful children. I loved chatting with her about her business, her hopes and dreams for it, and how much she loves the clothes! I mean wait until you see this little guy of hers, he was such a poser, and seriously loved the camera!

I interviewed Katie as well, you’re gonna love her… and for sure gonna wanna go grab yourself some new clothes or a pair of buttery soft leggings over at her facebook boutique!

Katie, Tell us a little bit about yourself? 

I’m 33. Married for 2 years. I have two kids, Ryker 4yrs and Landyn 11 months. I work full time for the local police department (12 years) and that’s where I met my husband (officer for 21 years). I’m easy going, loyal and dependable.

How did LuLaRoe w/Katie Weiss get started? 

I had been to a few in-home parties and fell in love with the clothing. I started joining online groups like a mad woman. After I realized how amazing not only the clothing was, but the people involved, I decided to join! The background of the founders, DeAnne and Mark is truly amazing. They want us all to succeed. I initially joined LLR to clear some debt that we had accumulated over the years however that has since changed. LLR has not only blessed my life but continues to allow me to bless others. It’s a fulfilling feeling. To me it’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle.

What are your hopes, dreams, for your business any big goals you hope to accomplish?

My husband has been a Police Officer for 21 years. I have worked for the same department for 12 years. We see a LOT of negative. A lot! I fell in love with LLR about a year ago but never ever thought about selling it. The world got ugly and I feared for my husband’s safety daily. I talked to my sponsor and she told me all the great things about the company. Not just the clothes were amazing, but the people involved were amazing. I needed some positivity in my life. And I had debt. I figured LLR would be exactly what I needed to clear some debt and smile. I’ve been selling for 8 months. To say LLR had changed me and my family is just an understatement. LLR has become my family. I have met so many great, amazing, strong women. I have built an amazing team (LuLaRoe Night Owls) and have some great things planned. With all the hard work I have put in, I can 100% say my WHY has changed. My family is my new WHY. I want my husband to be able to retire from the Police Department and be home with the kids. I want my kids to have their daddy safe and sound. I want to be able to rest at night knowing my husband is safe. The world has become very scary and even scarier for my husband and his brothers and sisters in blue. No one deserves to carry the fear that comes along with this lifestyle. I need my husband. My kids need their father.
