I few weeks back before mother nature flipped the switch from fall to winter on us overnight, I had the lovely time of photographing the Wilson Family for the first time. They were lovely! Their sweet little girl was turning one, so we were updating family portraits as well as capturing her one year portraits. At first she wasn’t really feeling it, she had much better things to be doing.. and even though it doesnt look like it in the photos, it was a tad bit chilly outside. It didn’t take her long though, mostly once she got into her beloved wagon she began smiling, and became much happier. It’s funny how children have that one thing, the thing that can make them cheer right up even when they aren’t feeling it, and for this pretty little princess that was her red wagon… and her dog of course. She would light up every time the dog would pass by, she followed the dog everywhere with her eyes, and loved having the dog in the shots with them.

Too bad we couldn’t have gotten her and the dog together in the wagon, I bet that would have been perfection…. maybe next time. We shot at a local county park know as Kinder Farm Park, and had such a great time, walking around and chatting, and talking all things – Baby’s first Birthday. I had a fantastic time photographing the Wilson family and look forward to meeting up with them again in the future!
