Welcome Baby Nikko | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

I have been photographing this beautiful family for a few years now, since before their first son was even born. I have had the incredible privilege of not only being a part of all the beautiful moments in their lives from become parents, to celebrating their first son’s first birthday, and first holidays, now to welcoming their second son… but also.. now calling them friends! When clients can become friends it such a special gift, and I have loved getting to know them over the last few years! A few months back I met up with them while it was still warm out to capture some maternity portraits on the beach, I loved adding big brother in the photos too! Then I photographed them for what was the last Christmas as a family of only 3, as they waiting for the best Christmas Present of all this year to arrive! I waited for that scheduled day to get here, so excited to meet them at the hospital for their Fresh 48 session, not only to meet their new son Nikko, but also because capturing the moment a big sibling meets their new baby is quite possibly one of the most beautiful things in the world.

I got the call and headed off to the hospital, once I got into their room I immediately noticed that sweet baby Nikko looked almost identical to his big brother David when he was born, its like twins just born a few years apart! We captured the moment of the boys meeting each other for the first time, and their very first family photo, which was such an honor to be a part of! Congratulations C family, he is incredible and I am so happy for you all!
