One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow year after year. I first met this sweet family years ago, and every time they step in front of my camera it feels less like a session and more like catching up with old friends.
This time we met at the beautiful Annapolis Naval Academy for their family portraits, and it was the perfect evening. We laughed, explored, listened to all the latest family updates, and let the kids do what they do best… run, play, and be themselves.
Those in-between moments are always my favorites. The giggles, the silly faces, the little interactions, and the genuine connection that can’t be posed.
Annual family photos are about so much more than just updating your walls. They are about documenting who your family is in this exact season of life because these moments change faster than we realize.
I am so grateful for the families who trust me year after year and allow me to continue telling their stories. Watching your children grow and celebrating each new chapter with you is truly one of the greatest gifts of this job.

From the moment you reserve your session, my goal is to make this process feel effortless. I know planning family photos can sometimes feel overwhelming, but I promise you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
We'll chat about your vision, choose the perfect location, and plan a session that feels like your family. Whether you picture your children running barefoot through a field, exploring the beach at sunset, or cozying up together at home, we'll create something that reflects this season of your life.
Not sure what to wear? That's one of my favorite parts! I'll happily help you coordinate outfits, colors, textures, and accessories so everyone looks beautiful without feeling overly matched or overly styled.
Once your session is over, I'll carefully go through every image, selecting the strongest moments that tell your family's story.
Each photograph is hand-edited with great care. My editing style is clean, timeless, and true to life. I'll gently enhance your images while preserving the natural beauty that makes your family uniquely yours. My goal is never to make you look different, only to help you look your very best.
You'll receive a beautiful online proofing gallery within a few weeks!
The only thing I ask is this: Let your kids be kids. Let them run. Let them explore. Let them get sandy toes, twirl in their dresses, collect rocks, pick flowers, splash in the water, or snuggle into your shoulder when they're feeling shy. Those beautifully imperfect moments are where the real magic happens, and they're almost always the photographs you'll treasure the most.
This is the part where you get to relax.
Really.
You won't hear me asking everyone to stand perfectly still or smile at the camera every five seconds. I believe the best photographs happen in between the poses, the belly laughs, the cuddles, the games of tag, tiny hands reaching for yours, and those quiet moments when your family simply enjoys being together.
We'll gently guide the session while leaving plenty of room for authentic moments to unfold naturally.
Have a toddler who needs a snack? A baby who needs to nurse? A child who needs a few minutes to warm up? That's all part of the process.
As a mom of three myself, I promise we're never in a rush.
