Meet Gavin :: Millersville Maryland Newborn Photography-
A few weeks back I got to capture this darling boy for his Newborn portraits. He was such a joy, and did wonderfully at his session! He slept for much of it and even when he wasn’t sleeping he was pleasant, and wide eyed! His daddy happens to be a firefighter so of course I was thrilled to capture some uniform shots, (usually my favorite)! His mama also wanted to capture him with their other fur babies, and it turned out wonderfully. When it comes to adding pets into Newborn sessions, I am always excited to try but approach it with caution, you just never know what to expect when you pair the two together, I generally hold those shots for the end just incase they do not turn out as we had hoped, however with Gavins session those doggies were just perfect! While capturing Newborn Photography I love getting the chance to also capture the local emergency personnel, as our family supports them so much, and are so thankful for all that they do. Capturing Gavin with his dads uniform and fire gear was by far my favorite part of the session, little boys always look up to their dads, and see them as their hero’s but when your dad is a firefighter it makes it that much more exciting for a little boy, I hope that Gavin cherishes those images as he gets older!
Parents, are you planning an upcoming Newborn Photography session? Do you wear a uniform in your career or have job specific gear? Pull it out and shine up nice, and be prepared to add it into your newborn session, it makes your images unique, and adds a personal touch that you child will love as they grow and reflect back upon the images! Speaking of planning a Newborn Photography session I cannot stress it enough, please do not wait until the very last minute, book at the end of your first trimester and secure your photographer before they are booked!
