Grandparent Mini Sessions | Annapolis Family Photographer
Memories that are worth their weight in GOLD |
I miss my grandfather, I miss him terribly. He was like a best friend to me. He lived with us (when I still lived at home) for a few years before he passed away. He taught me so many things, so many valuable lessons, so much wisdom, tough wrinkled hands, eyes that said so much, a stern word when needed and a soft touch when that’s all that would help. He would have been 100 this year. He died just 3 days before my birthday, and I spent my 16th birthday at his funeral. Every year on his birthday I drive to the veterans cemetery and I visit him……. More then anything I wish he could have met my girls. Held them in his incredibly tough, but ever so gentle hands. He would have been their great-grandfather…. The children in this photo (clients of mine) are pictured with their great-grandparents. Not many children are privileged to have any remaining great grandparents, many don’t even have both sets of grandparents. That sad truth is that while none of us are promised tomorrow, the older generations will not be here for a very long time more, but they have incredible stories to be told. They have so much wisdom to impart on this new generation, and so many memories with them to be cherished. This is why I am holding grandparent (and great grandparent) mini sessions. |
These sessions will be for children, young and older to be photographed with their grand (or great-grand) parents. Sessions will last 15 mins, and will include 5 fully edited digital images. (with upgrades available after your session)
These will be beautiful keepsakes, that will last forever.
Sessions are being held on:
Saturday Oct 21st in Annapolis (state circle)
Monday Oct 23rd Kinder Farm Park afternoon and evening
Session Fee is $225.
There will be only 4 sessions on each day, book your session quickly to reserve your spot and to capture beautiful memories to pass down through generations, to show a beautiful bond that only happens between grandparents and their grandchildren.
