Last week Sweet baby henry and his family joined me in the studio. As a Baltimore newborn Photographer there is always newborns in my studio but it’s always exciting when they bring along their older siblings as well. We had so much fun wrangling them up for siblings photos. This little guy was such a snuggle bug and so very much laid back. It was easy to see he was a 3rd baby and adjusting well to noise levels, and constant contact and nothing really seemed to phase him as all. We worked on family portraits, then sibling, then focused just on him with the colors and set ups that mom prefers for her babies newborn photos.
Sometimes when working with very young siblings, such as these its not always possible to get siblings photos. I try to give them as much grace as possible, their whole world just changed around and a new family member is now taking up some of the attention they used to get. Sleep patterns have been changed, and really everything for them, so expecting them to just sit and pose with their new baby isn’t always as easy as it looks. These two however did a fabulous job and enjoyed being with their baby brother. They are all so close in age, they will have best friend siblings to grow up with!
I loved my time working with them, and getting to know their family. I look forward to a future opportunity to photograph this beautiful family.
