I am so so excited to offer these Mommy + Me Mini Sessions this year. We have a few options this year, it is my heart for these sessions to be something special for mamas who are tired out, overwhelmed, and never in front of the camera. It is so important for mamas to see themselves as moms, to see the way their face lights up when they are with their child/ren.
There will be so many excuses, not enough time, funds, haven’t lost the weight you planned, your roots need to be touched up, you don’t think you have anything to wear….. in 20 years…. your child will not care about any of those things. in 20 years, the little bit of time you took away from work, or home, or the funds you reallocated you will hardly remember, but what you will remember are these memories, how little they were, how they held onto you, how it looked to hold them… you wont regret it, in fact you will be so glad that you made the time and did it, and your child….. they will cherish these even more then you, one day these may be memories they cherish more then you ever know.
The number one thing I hear from clients, especially those whos parents are no longer here, ” I wish I had more photos, I wish I had photos with my mom, when I was small” …… not one of them have ever said, I wish my mom would have lost more weight before she took pictures with us as children, or why didn’t she buy new clothes or color her hair, or anything of those sorts…. its always, man I wish I had more photos with my mom when I was little.
