Annapolis Wedding Photographer | The Moment
Theres that moment… you know the one.. while all the wedding is full of moments, there is one that holds a pretty high ranking… its almost tied with the first kiss, and the first dance….. its the moment we have lead up to, have wondered about, have coached him on not looking away when he feels the emotion… his eyes rise up towards the horizon from where they had been fixed toward the ground and he replayed his vows over again in his head one last time.. his heart is beating loudly he can almost hear it… and then, he sees her… its as if, as if.. none of us were even there… he locks in on the sight of her, ” Thats my girl” he thinks to himself… and then a smile starts forming, and the slightest dimple begins to appear, his eyes may even get a bit glassy…. she takes a few more steps and walks closer to him, and Ive witnessed it, for a moment in time, we all disappear, the sounds in the background of beautiful lyrics the bride has chosen for her processional fade away …. for a moment …. its just them….. THAT moment, that is one we never forget, its one you can feel by looking at the image. I have learned that photography is not just capturing the image at the right moment, with the right critical aspects, its the feeling… the feeling I am feeling witnessing that moment must be captured in that shot. Id be lying if I told you that any other shot is the most requested by brides, but its not… its this one. This single shot, its what brides dream up, its what mothers wait for to see their daughter walking toward the man who has fallen completely in love with their daughters…. all in this moment so many feelings are expressed.
