Annapolis Wedding Photographer | Holly and Ken
Just a week ago the SMP team traveled out to Kurtz’s Beach to photograph the wedding of Ken and Holly. We started out by photographing the girls getting ready at Holly’s childhood home. Holly was full of excitement for her wedding day as she got ready and tied into her dress by her mother and Maid of Honor. Once Holly was dressed and ready, we took her outside for a first look with her father which, naturally, resulted in needing a make- up touch up prior to hopping in her limo and heading off to the venue.
When we arrived at the venue we all had a quick dose of bug spray and the bridal party lined up for the ceremony. The ceremony was held on the water front deck and decorated with florals. The family and bridal party made their way down the aisle and took their places. Holly was escorted down the aisle by her father and, after a kiss, given to her groom, Ken. The couple then took part in a sand mixing ceremony that encased sand in a photo of them. Then the couple said their vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!
After the ceremony we took the family, bridal party and couple out for a quick round of pictures during the cocktail hour. Once we were finished the bridal party was announced into the reception area the party was off! The bridal party and guests wine-ed and dined, danced and had a great time! This couple was super fun and even had a sparkler send off at the end of the night. We wish you the best and hope you had a fantastic time on your honeymoon!
