Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Meet Logan
Logan’s mama contacted me a few weeks back to set up his newborn session, thankfully I still had an opening! I was so excited to hear that little man had been born, we met a few days later then normal as he was taking a bit longer to adjust to the whole feeding thing.. which is totally fine, all babies get it at a different time, and we were still able to capture beautiful portraits!! Once a date was selected and mama had filled out the pre-session questionnaire so I could prepare for his session we were ready to go and I was excited. You might think holding babies all day long could loose its luster just like all the other things.. however unlike the age old saying would have you think in this case, too much of a good thing (in this case babies) is a REALLY good thing, and its true.
Having been a labor and delivery nurse, then a mama myself, and as a Newborn photographer I have had many babies in my hands, big and little, white and black, girls and boys… and it hasn’t lost its excitement, in fact… if truth be told, I dont mind it one bit if those babies start crying and I need to give them an extra cuddle or to stand holding them swaying back and forth.. they are all tiny miracles and I am beyond blessed to photograph their beginnings as tiny humans.
Logans mama brought him to the studio with a few of his favorite stuffies, and handmade blanket from a family member and a few other things of sentimental value, or handmade gifts that we were able to add into his shoot since he did so well and slept almost the whole time.
