Annapolis Newborn Photographer : Meet Katerina

I capture alot of Newborn Portraits both in the studio and in my clients homes, there is usually some time spent helping baby drift off to sleep, or calm down however Baby Katerina, she read the book and aced the test on sleeping right through her Newborn Portrait sessions. I didn’t even have to pull out all of tricks I learned while working in Labor and Delivery, this sweet girl just enjoyed a long snooze while we posed her , wrapped her, and tried every possibility of headbands and colors on her, and she looked great in every single one. Surprisingly she was almost 3 weeks old at her session, and still slept through it. I prefer to capture newborn sessions as close to birth as possible this is when baby is the sleepiest, as well as most bendable since they dont have as much muscle tone yet, however sweet baby K needed some extra love from the amazing nurses at the NICU so we captured her portraits a bit later and she still did just fine.

As an Annapolis Newborn Photographer you would think that I easily get my fill of the fresh, squishy, scrunchy that is Newborn Babies but this would not be true, I love everything about capturing this tiny miracles and every single one that is placed in my arms is a blessing, and just as special as the last. I love seeing each of their different personalities, and capturing their tiny features, and the sleepy smiles, and all the things that make them unique !

I am incredibly blessed to have such a special job, and am so thankful to be an Annapolis Newborn Photographer and honored that each of these clients allow me to capture their brand new baby to enjoy their memories for years to come!
