Annapolis Family Photographer | The G Family

Just a few days after Christmas I had the chance to meet up with a charming family in downtown Annapolis! The adult children had purchased the session for their mother for Christmas while everyone was in town for the holidays. It was quite chilly out, and the rain clouds were closing in around us, I would have rescheduled however some of the family would be departing on an airplane the next day so the session had to go on, thankfully aside from one tiny shower the weather held out for us and we were able to work fast and cover everything that we needed to. Since we had a little guy with us, capturing the bulk of the shots quickly to get him back into his warm cozy infant carrier was key.

We met at beautiful State Circle in Downtown Annapolis, and as the rain showers made their appearance we moved up to the covered entrance way to the state building which features gorgeous marble columns and stairways with black wrought iron railings. It was the perfect place to seek shelter from the elements but still be able to carry on with our portraits!
