I have had the honor of photographing this beautiful family for years, including the first time I met them for a maternity sessions and there was a surprise engagement on the beach!! It was so beautiful and such an incredible moment to be a part of! I photographed a second Maternity session just about  a year and half ago when this little guy was in her belly! Followed by his Newborn session, and then just like that we end up at a 12 month cake smash session. Babies grow way to fast, we need to fix that!

Zac was so much fun to photograph and is so full of personality. He was smiling and running around and totally showing off, and was so darn cute the entire time! He wasn’t a super fan of his cake smash outfit, but certainly enjoyed the cake when it arrived, especially licking the icing off of his fingers. He was a clean little cake smasher, for sure.. no big cake messes with him. I always wonder how kids will respond to the cake, will they dive right in and make a huge mess? Will they even like it at all? Some of them just stare at it and cry, while others just cant stop eating it! Each child is so different when it comes to the cake! Zac was such fun to photograph, and capture such a special milestone as his first birthday! And can we just take a minute and talk about all of that beautiful hair???? Happy first Birthday sweet boy!
