Last time I saw Ryan she was just born and oh my word was she just the sweetest thing. Shortly before that I had gotten the honor of being one of the first people to meet her when I drove out to GBMC shortly after her delivery for her Fresh 48 session. I have had the honor of shooting many Fresh 48 sessions, but this one will always stand out to me in a very special way. Ryans parents were so over the moon about her arrival, which had come at just the perfect time for their lives, and they couldn’t have been more happy. Her mama was so smitten just looking at her little face, I’m pretty sure she could have stared at her the entire hospital stay and never once get bored. They were exactly what new parents should look like. Tired…. so incredibly tired, but so so full of joy that just couldn’t be contained!
So fast forward, and I dont mean the fast part lightly… it happens quick. My clients never realize that I mean it when I say, before you know it you will be back for the one year session and then… here we are.
I was excited as could be for Ryans birthday session, especially after her mama had sent me some photos of her. They brought some of her very favorite things and sweet little cake for her. She was full of smiles, and has such incredible eyes, I could just photograph her all day long. She was pleasant as could be and her parents are just as smitten over her as the day she was born! She was a joy to photograph!
