3, 6, 9, 12 Months, or even 18 and 24 months are great points to capture new portraits.

Don’t let another season go by without new portraits, and memories. Rice Family | Annapolis Family Photographer

This fall I had the opportunity to meet up with the Rice family for their fall family portraits! Fall in Maryland is so beautiful, and can be completely unpredictable… For instance, just a few days prior to this session I was shooting outdoors in 70 degree temperatures, and then the day came for this session, and while it wasn’t as bad as it could have been it quickly dropped to about 45 degrees… crazy right? But, aside from the weather… the sunsets, and the warm golden tones are just perfect for an Annapolis Family session. We met up at Kinder Farm Park one of Anne Arundel county’s park. I adore this park for fall sessions because of where the sun sets and the gorgeous overgrown tall grasses.

We had such a fun time walking around the park talking about travel, and kids, and family! The boys were a blast to photograph! Sometimes brothers can be tough to photograph because they aren’t always nice to each other….. imagine that, siblings not loving on each other… but these two were so kind, and well behaved. They are either just really great kids, or mom bribed them with something that was just too good to give up ! I like to think it was the first, however I do hear some pretty good bribes offered to kids to behaving during their sessions! I’m pretty sure it just came naturally for these two though!
