A few months back near the very end of summer we traveled out to the beautiful area of St. Michaels to a little inn for the wedding of Michael and Lisa. They had a gorgeous sunny afternoon, on a waterfront property, and were surrounded by their closest loved ones and friends. I loved the house that they got ready in, so much olde towne charm felt throughout, and sweet little places throughout the house that made it unique. We spent much of our time outdoors as the ceremony overlooked the water, and the dappled sunlight gave everyone a sun kissed skin tone. The Bride smiled throughout the whole ceremony, which may seem like the usual to you, however.. generally the bride is so nervous that she forgets to smile, so seeing a bride smile the whole time was a plus! After the ceremony we all started over to the barn on the Inn’s property, the weather was just so that they windows could be opened and a nice breeze came through!

The bridal party was announced and then the first dance began, it was so sweet.. the dancing, followed by some tears and then lots of smiles. After that, the Groom surprised his daughter with a special dance just for the two of them, and oh my, there were quite a few leaky eyes in the room for that one. After diner everyone enjoyed dancing and time outdoors in such a delightful afternoon. There were beautiful toasts given, a cake cutting, and laughter that could be heard all over the property of the Inn. Guests telling old stories, and talking about new plans.. it was a lovely time. Congratulations Mike and Lisa!!!
