I cannot even begin to tell you how much I adore River Mini Sessions. Of all of the styled or themed mini sessions I have offered as a Baltimore Family Photographer this is certainly one of my very favorites, Nurturing mama/nursing/feeding sessions coming in close second… and then of course Christmas Sessions. I usually wait until August for these sessions so that the river has time to warm up and the foliage in its fullest bloom. This year the River sessions sold out the minute they were announced, and I quickly thought about a second date, but in summer I just couldn’t. Its a good thing too, the night of the sessions poured so hard, then stopped long enough to squeeze in a few sessions then continued to rain again, so there are a few still being rescheduled but this family was one of the lucky ones able to have their session on the original scheduled date, and oh my goodness am I in love with these sessions. Not only are the beautiful, but they are real, there is so much emotion and excitement, laughter, and fun times. This session also added on our newest product to SMP the family portrait videos, which have quickly become a client favorite as a way to document even more beautiful moments.

This was my first time meeting the P family and they were just as sweet as ever! That tiny girl just wanted to swim, she wasnt too interested in her photos rather just having a great time in the river, which actually is just what I wanted to capture these incredible moments with her family, and grandma! Thank you all so much for coming out to the River sessions it was lovely meeting you.
