They say don’t blink.. and it sounds so cliché… really, its just the truth.

I was driving down the road, having just picked the kids up from school, my nearly 16 year old 10th grader in the seat next to me receives a phone call from her best friend two years older than her…… “ Mom…. She just got accepted to her 1st pick college” and it happened… In a moment my whole world changed. The little girl next to me, turns 16 this summer, that means next year she turns 17. I left for college at 17…. I have like TWO summers left….. TWO. My tiny little girl who never slept more than 2 hours a night, and carried 15 pacifiers with her at all times, is counting down days till her drivers license and going to college fairs. HOW…..

As I kept driving the memories flooded my mind, the sound of her little voice and the words she mispronounced at age 4, my little girl is replaced by a teenager who will soon be a woman….. Did I hug her enough, did I soak in the moments, did I make all the memories, do I have enough photos to prove it…. and then Motherhood Snap Shot Sessions were born.
