Meet Lucas | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

I met this beautiful family a few months back for their Maternity session before little Lucas had arrived, or even had a name that had been made public. Do you want to know a little secret? I kept both of my girls names a secret as well. We even made up little nicknames for them so we could still refer to them as something other then “baby”. For my oldest daughter we called her “baby little bit” ….. and my second daughter we called her “Baby Lovey” (this one was given by her older sister, and we instantly fell in love with it). So, baby Lucas’s parents we over the moon excited about his arrival, so we talked all things baby, and planning for his arrival.. I just love chatting about my clients lives and learning more about them! They were both filled with joy when they talked about awaiting his arrival, they were the cutest.

When they brought him to the studio they couldnt stop looking at him, and well, I clearly see why. He was incredibly handsome, and his daddy LOVED holding him and rocking him and did a wonderful job at soothing him when he was upset. He did such a great job during his session, and was just as happy as could be.. about halfway through he reminded us that he now makes the rules and he really needed some time with his mama! After that we went right back to crafting these beautiful portraits. Look at the shots with his parents, arent they looking so in love?!?!
