Meet Liam | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

Sweet Baby Liam came into the studio to visit me a few weeks back, he was such a delight. All babies are incredible, but this little guy… he was made for snuggling. He would just curl right up let out a sign and drift right off to sleep! Speaking of sleeping, I actually don’t think he woke up really at all during our session, he just softly slept the entire time… dreamland comes easy for this little guy. He family had just recently moved to the area so while he slept we enjoyed chatting about where they came from, what brought them here , and where they moved to. The live right in one of my very favorite shopping districts so we had much to discuss, like if his mama ever needs a shopping buddy, I can be there! I’m kidding…. sort of!

His mama preferred dusty blues and neutral, earth tones so those are the colors that we moved him through, again… while he just slept the whole time. Often times parents are worried that their new baby will be wide awake or crying the whole time during their session, to which I reassure them, there are very few babies that don’t fall asleep, and even those who do not usually get pretty calm, and we just take gorgeous eyes wide open shots. Between the heater, the soft white noise and lullabies, lavender essential oils, and tightly wrapped swaddles, sleeping usually comes pretty easy in the studio…. even parents sometimes fall asleep while I am posing and photographing their newborn.
