Meet Baby G | Baltimore Newborn Photographer
Sometimes, for whatever reason be it medical delays in discharge from hospital, new mama overwhelm, global health pandemics, or personal choice, not all babies make it into the studio as brand new newborns. While it’s preferred that they are in here before 12 days old that doesn’t mean that infant portraits aren’t just a beautiful. Sweet baby G clearly displays that in her infant portraits. While not quire a newborn, she was still incredibly easy to work with, pose, drift off to sleep and her portraits lack in no ways even though she was a bit older then the average newborn in the studio. Since the who world changed from a virus, I have seen more and more babies coming into the studio just a bit leter then we did say 3 years ago. I am totally fine with it, while posing may be a bit limited and they don’t sleep as much, I love awake shots with gorgeous newborn eyes wide opened.
As a Baltimore newborn photographer, If there is anything I have learned over the last 11 years as a newborn Photographer, it would be to adapt, to any and all situations. Capturing portraits for bigger infants rather then just newborns is one of those ways, and we are enjoying it just as much over here. If you think you missed your window of opportunity for prime portraits, you didn’t… the only fail is when no photos are captured at all… no memories preserved, no moments to cherish forever… it doesnt’ matter when you make it into the studio just so you do!
