Annapolis Wedding Photographer | The Lucy’s

We recently traveled to the Eastern Shore again to a gorgeous, new to us venue (our favorite kind), to capture the wedding of Jessica and John Lucy. Two people so in love, it was easily evident to all those around them. Sure, all couples tend to be happy and in love on their wedding day, but there are some; like the Lucys, that just have a magnetic chemistry between them.

The wedding preparations came together in the beautiful, historic farm house on Running Fox Farm, a part of the Brittland Estates family of venues. An eager bride, feeling ready to make her way down the aisle said “I haven’t seen him, talked to him, or touched him all day, and he’s my person.” It was just one of the many sweet moments where you could truly tell these two were meant for each other.

The house itself was lovely and the property even more stunning. With sprawling fields, a well kept barn and the most beautiful trees, it provided the perfect back drop and setting for the Lucys to become one. After the vows were exchanged, the two snuck away to the picturesque tree lined driveway, for some sweet moments and photographs. As an Annapolis Wedding Photographer, the Incredible landscape of Maryland’ Eastern shore paired with the picturesque layout of Running Fox Farm I could hardly contain my excitement of shooting the Bridal Portraits of the two newlyweds on the property, especially the stunning fence line!

Soon after the tented reception began, with toasts and dancing. The fabulous band, Higher Hands, brought the party, and there was no delay in getting guests onto the dance floor to celebrate. Earlier in the day there had been some concern of rain, but you wouldn’t know it looking at their images. The day turned out to be perfect and we couldn’t be more happy for Jessica and John. Congratulations  Mr. & Mrs. Lucy!
