Annapolis Wedding Photographer : Mentoring session
I love Wedding Photography, I love weddings, I Love.. love. It may sound so cliche but lets be honest we are all drawn to love. Everyone enjoys a good love story, a movie with the perfect love story ending, or even that song on the radio the one that takes you back to your first love! It would come at no surprise that the one thing I am contacted most about in photography mentoring, is wedding photography as an annapolis wedding photographer that makes me very excited!
It is import to me that not only do my brides have an amazing wedding photography experience, but also that they are comfortable with me, and my assistant, and they they feel that we are like friends showing up to their wedding rather then just another set of vendors. I mean what other wedding photographer takes her bride out paddle boarding in the Chesapeake to discuss their shot list, and VIP wedding members!!!
Having said that, I make sure that when I am mentoring a photographer on Wedding Photography, that I not only touch on exposure, poses, lighting, etc.. but also connection, making their bride or groom feel comfortable, and personal touches to complete the day.
I spent the evening working with Gloria, she was a blast and so eager to learn new tips. She has recently started her business and wanted to work on Wedding Photography posing and capturing the light. We spent part of our time capturing our gorgeous models on the beach, and then ran to the other side of our location as the sun was setting to capture the dreamy, warm glow of the sunset.
There was laughter, learning, and a whole lot of fun!
