Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Sloan turns ONE

This session one was one of my favorites, I LOVED photographing sweet Sloan for her first birthday portraits… Not only because she and her big sister Arden were and always are ridiculously adorable, and not only because her mama is a sweet friend of mine, and not only because I love what I do and photographing these miracle babies brings me so much joy… but also because Ms. Sloan was belly buddies with my daughter Lakeleigh. Theres a sense of connection there, I can still remember finding out her mama was pregnant with her, right after I photograph their family session at a gorgeous Apple Orchard. I was so so excited for them, and couln’t wait to meet this blessing from God.

Watching Sloan and her sister Arden grow has been such a joy and a blessings, and having their family in our family’s life has been a real treat. It’s so exciting when you have friends with children so close in age to your own children. Both my girls and Sloan and her sister Arden share birthday months….. both are April and September babies!!!!

Sloan, you are such a beautiful baby girl who I know brings your family so so much joy. You are so loved, and you were so very much wanted, in fact they longed for you to join the family, and to make Arden a big sister. You are an incredible Gift from God, a baby who has has blessed your family immeasurably, and kept a smile on your mamas face. I hope you always know your worth, and believe you hold so much value, not only as the prefect addition to your family, but as a child of God. We love you sloan, and I am so thankful Lakeleigh had you as a belly buddy, and will have you as a friend!
