Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Salaris Maternity Session
A little over a year ago I photographed this sweet couples gorgeous wedding, and now to be capturing their maternity session and awaiting the arrival of a sweet baby boy later this summer! We had an incredible evening on the bay in Annapolis, the breeze was fabulous, and the sun covered by another cloud cover that the temperature was very enjoyable! The couple was able to grab dinner prior to our session at the Severn Inn, a great little restaurant right next to the park we were meeting at for portraits that overlooks the water, with great views of the Annapolis Naval Academy!
Are you expecting a new baby soon? Book your maternity and newborn portraits early as space for these sessions is limited. As an Annapolis Newborn Photographer I love photographing my clients near the water in Annapolis, however there are so many incredible options both outdoor, or indoor at the studio! Many clients will schedule their session just shortly after the find out they are pregnant to secure optimal timing to capture this incredible part of your journey into motherhood. Having your session take place between 30-34 weeks is perfect, this will help up stay out of the swelling, not really wanting to move days along with trying to avoid not getting the session in before any preterm labor starts up.

I believe that photographs are captured memories, a time capsule if you will. Your family or wedding photography should tell a story, everytime you look at those images it should bring you back, and fill you with a flood of emotions, helping you to relive that moment in which the image was captured. It shouldnt be a staged pose or a forced moment but rather an experience! From their first breath, to the first step, the year they were missing their front tooth, or gave themselves a haircut, the year you carried that baby inside of you, or when you walked them down the isle, I want to be there to capture those moments for you, and to laugh and cry right along with you. This is your life. These are your memories. This is Art.
