Annapolis newborn Photographer | Meet Lyla Mae

As an Annapolis Newborn Photographer I love getting to see my clients return season after season, year after year, and baby after baby! I really enjoy being able to connect with their children, and this sweet big sister was no different. I had met the N family back in the fall when I was holding Christmas Mini Sessions at a nearby horse farm. What a great family they were, I was so excited when they contacted me for a spring session, which I am still looking forward too! Shortly before the huge snowstorm that took over the east coast a few weeks ago, Lylas mama and big sister were going to join me in the studio for a Maternity session. Surprise… Lyla had other plans. LIke many of the other Sarah Michele Photography newborns Lyla was welcomed during the snow storm. Prior to becoming an Annapolis Newborn Photographer I worked as a nurse at a local hospital and part of that time in the Labor and Delivery unit. We used to joke about just how many babies would be born during snow storms and hurricanes, and that storm was no different. We quickly decided that we would need to switch that Maternity Photography session to a Newborn Photography session, and we did.

I loved having the whole family come join us in the studio, even grandma came along, its so nice meeting the whole family. Bella, Lylas big sister is an incredible big sister and already adores her baby sister, and wanted to hold her and kiss her and then like every other child her age, pretty much just move on to something new! I am so excited that Lyla is now on the Baby Plan and I will get to photograph her and her big sister every few months as they grow!
