I have had the incredible honor of photographing this sweet family many, many times before. From when they first brought their sweet daughter home to now introducing the newest member of the family JR! He made his way into the studio last week and was the sweetest little guy. He was almost 9 pounds, and had an adorable nose, and sure loved being snuggled in close to his mommy. His big sister grace came along but as most big sisters who are under 2 would feel, she wasn’t very interested in spending much time with him, instead she really just wanted to explore. With both JR and Grace so close in age I would have to think that this wont be the last time she wont be too interested in her little brother, but also with such a close age Im sure they will go through times of being the very best of friends!!!

Sweet JR came with some adorable props that his mama had made as well as been given, including a very adorable tiny cowboy set, with diaper cover, boots, and a hat… even though he was tiny they look so cute on him and he didnt mind how many times I mess with them he got cozy and chilled out there!

Many clients as about props for a newborn session, and I always suggest bringing the things that are VERY special to you, and if you have a bunch of props you may want to wait until a future session. Newborns are so so so tiny, and even the big ones are still tiny that most clothing/props even those made for NB or Newborn or 0-3 clothing dont always fit well, others are too tiny, my advice would be to try them on your baby at home, make sure that they fit well, and then bring along your favorites. I always have tons of props in the studio as well, so do not feel the need to have to bring them along!
