Having an almost 5 year old of my own (Yes Ive gotta get the *almost* part in there or she will remind me) I love capturing family sessions of children close to the same age, it fun to have the interaction with them, sing the crazy songs.. yes I said sing, because I totally do, I didnt say sing well, but it happens and they laugh and I get great smiles from it! We walked around Downtown Annapolis chatting about the ice cream the boys were promised after, talking about all the crazy topping combos I could possibly think of, including spiders, turtles, and so many more!
It was such a lovely evening it felt like all of Annapolis was out on the town for the night! The boys had fun crawling around in the grass and playing near the cannon statue that sits atop State Circle (as an Annapolis Family Photographer, this is one of my favorite places to shoot).
Its always fun to see a family interact with each other, and the different personalities when there are multiple children, and this family was no different each of the boys brought their own charm and laughter to the shoot !
Wondering about the state house that shows up in the background of this family’s portraits heres a bit of information?
It the only state house to have ever served as state capital, the Maryland General Assembly convenes there for 3 months out of the year, and is the oldest state house still in continuous legislative use. (info taken from the Maryland State House wedpage) Next time you find yourself in downtown Annapolis make sure you check out the state house during your tour of the city!
