Annapolis family Photographer | Laird Family Fall Portraits

It was an incredibly chilly evening when we met at the gorgeous Kinder Farm Park in Millersville Maryland for the Laird Family’s Fall Portraits. Despite the cold temps we had a lovely time running around the park chasing the sun as it set behind the line of trees. The kids would express that they were getting too cold for this, not a second later would be running around the park as if it were summer time! Photographing my clients is always a treat for me, especially when they are also friends of our family’s. We worked quickly with the time that we had before the kids noses turned too red, and the chattering of teeth set it.

I made sure to grab a few shots of just Dave & Rachel, as parents we often photograph just our children or the whole family but rarely spend time on sweet, cozy, or intimate shots of just mom and dad… which is ok sometimes, I mean with kids that cute I could hardly stop photographing them, but I try to remind my clients take just a moment while the kids run around and take time out for just the two of you. Especially the ladies, we love these photos… sure we also love the ones of our kids, but before children you are always taking photographs with your man once families begin to grow there just isnt always time, so grab a shot or two when you can and I mean these shots, in that sunset I just had to!
