365 Project 2018 1-15
This year I am challenging myself to start and actually finish a 365 project for THE. ENTIRE. YEAR.
This will be a stretch for me, for some reason after the first week of January it often falls apart, which, is actually pretty sad considering I am a professional photographer and my camera is often with me. Now, I will say.. I take a ton of photos on my iphone and upload them to either my business insta account or our family insta account. Our family account is attached to my chatbooks account which automatically mails me a photo book after every 60 images, which for me.. its THE BEST! I don’t have to approve anything, or thing about it.. it just arrives.
I love our phone photos, I generally take them on there when we are out and about instead of taking my big girl camera along, but I wanted to get more artistic shots that I could edit to my style and have much, much better quality and control over the image so I am actually photographing my family not just snapping a pic on a phone. I have actually enjoyed this so far this year, and I have impressed myself but going about 10 days longer that I thought I would get to.
I even worked some self portraits into the mix. My hope is to continue and then design a book at the end of the year, lets see how it goes. Would it be bad if I set reminders on my phone to make sure I was taking them each day???? Asking for a friend!
In full disclosure, My hope is to create a special keepsake for my children of what this year looked like, so if I miss a few days here or there because of sickness, or we were just too busy, I won’t be too upset as it just goes with the theme… life in that moment.

Heather - How fun! I am doing a Project 365 also. I love following your work as an Annapolis newborn photographer, but this will give you a chance to stretch creatively and recharge so you can reach even greater heights of photography perfection for your clients too!
