Welcome Baby Charlie | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

This sweet little doll was in the studio last week, and we had such a lovely time. Her beautiful mama is a friend of mine, (who looks super incredible after just having a baby by the way) and I was so excited to be shooting her newborn Portraits. Just a few years back I photographed her big sister Sam’s newborn portraits and this sweet baby girl looks just like her. While her older sister may have had more hair, that is about the only thing telling them apart, it’s like twins!!

Charlie enjoyed being awake much more then sleeping for her shoot, and is full of many different facial expressions. She watched everything I was doing, you know since she barely wanted to close her eyes. I don’t mind it, she is so beautiful… so eyes open or closed, still makes for a perfect shot.

I mean, check them out below.. shes is just darling… I could photograph her all day long!

After she finally did fall asleep for a bit, she was full of the most beautiful baby smiles. I love capturing these early moments of newborns. It’s incredible how quickly they change and grow, and loose their “newborn” look, as an Annapolis newborn Photographer, creating keepsakes from these first moments is so important to me. Their fresh, new, scrunchy skin… the way they smile in their sleep, and the look they make when they finally settle in mamas arms. These are the moments you never want to forget!
