Normally by now in Maryland the temps are getting cooler and sometimes we even experience a dusting of snow. Another thing we are used to in Maryland is that after that dusting of snow, two days later it will warm up and feel like spring again. Well, lately is has been so mild, the fall is drawing out those warm days and I am loving it. I personally wish summer could live on forever but since it cannot, these warmer fall temps will do.

The real reason I am loving this weather so much, is that it allows me to continue capturing beautiful family portraits outdoors in the gorgeous golden fall sunsets. I’m a sucker for a good sunset and will literally chase the sun and move my clients around a million times so that their skin is sunkissed by the setting golden tones, and their flyaway hairs are glowing from the warm rays streaming through them.

This was my first time meeting the S family, and they were every bit of wonderful! With a beautiful blonde hair, blue eyed little girl, and a sweet baby boy who loved to smile their family was happy, their arms full, and their lives complete! We ran around the park and had such a great time together, until we finally worked some smiles out of that sweet baby girl! I am so thankful that they brought grandma along so that we could grab a few shots of just mom and dad by themselves together, something that can often be overlooked but is so important after you have kids, to still take photos together of just the two of you, not just your kids all the time!
