I love getting to meet my newborn clients prior to their Newborn Photography session for a maternity session. I think of it much like an engagement session before a wedding, this is our chance to work together, and capture beautiful moments, but also to practice some poses, and get the hang of things before the Newborn Session arrives! So when this beautiful mama decided to book a Mini studio maternity session prior to her Newborn photography session I was so excited. They also brought this darling little girl with them who is about to be promoted to big sister in just a few weeks! What a lovely family, and such a sweet baby girl…. their new baby has a wonderful family to be welcomed into, and of my is that baby deeply loved already!!!

Since big sister was still just a toddler our session was a bit more relaxed. This was done to give her a place where she felt comfortable and safe, not that she was being pushed or forced to do anything too quickly. She warmed up quickly…. actually she came in and instantly gave me a hug….. sweet right? like literally made my day!

We had a beautiful session, some more casual family shots, and big sister shots, and then om got into a maternity gown, and it looked incredible on her, she is beautiful!!! Thank you all for allowing me to capture this time in your lives as you wait on your new baby.. I cannot wait to have you back for your newborn session!
