Here at SMP, we consider servicemen and women true heroes.  From our armed forces missing their families overseas to the firefighters right here in our own communities.  But there’s a special place in our hearts for the police force, being married to an officer has given me an extra family, my Thin Blue Line Family, and That’s why the March 15^th wedding of Tim and Caitlin was extra special – Tim is a police officer!

We arrived at Caitlin’s parent’s home and were immediately blown away at the beauty of the bridal gown.  It was breathtaking and Caitlin looked like a fairytale princess.  The bouquets held by the bride and her bridesmaids were also strikingly beautiful.  We see a lot of floral arrangements, but the ones with bold, bright colors always stand out in photos!

One of the early highlights of the day was being able to capture Caitlin’s father’s first glimpse of his daughter all dressed up.  It was a beautiful moment and we were honored to be there for it.

From there we took a short ride over to the church for the ceremony.  The sanctuary could not have been more perfect for the bride and groom to exchange their vows!  There were windows and skylights that let the sunlight pour over the white marble floors, walls and arch ways.  After the formal ceremony, we were able to linger among the gorgeous archways for some breathtaking shots of the newlyweds.

Next, we made our way to Annapolis for the reception.  As always, we looked for some special little details among the décor, and we weren’t disappointed!  There were tables set up with photos on display of the bride’s and groom’s parents and grandparents on their wedding days!  .

Dinner was served and then it was time to DANCE!  The dance floor was packed all night, whether with friends and family dancing, or the bride smiling for a group shot with her 30 cousins, or the groom striking a pose surrounded by his fellow officers.  There were so many fun moments on that floor and the only time it was empty was when the bride and groom paused to cut their cake.
