Ive talked so many times before of my love for all things baby, I am obsessed with newborn sessions, absolutely love family and childrens sessions, enjoy milestone sessions… but they all usually meet up at, the cake smash session! As a Pasadena Maryland Family Photographer I got the amazing opportunity to capture so many families, and children and when its time for the cake smash no two are alike. Sure they all have a cake that will of course become smashed, but they are all so unique! Some children love them, and eat tons of cake, some children just stare at it and cry while others use the icing as finger paint. No matter what happens at the cake smash its such a fun time to capture memories of my clients sweet babies turning one!
This client’s theme was Lavender, lace and a pop of gold.. and my oh my she was a darling girl in her gold princess crown. Her daddy kept her smiling as we captured her portrait shots and then it was time to move onto her cake! Her tiny sweet smash cake was made by Two Rivers Pastry chef in pasadena maryland and tastes just as good as it looks!!!! She enjoyed painting with icing, smashing up the cake and even managed to eat a few bites.
