I have been photographing Natalie since she was first born, I shot her newborn session and then she was on the Watch Me grow plan, and now shes on the watch me grow and beyond through her second year. I love meeting up with her family every few months to see the new things she is doing and hear all of her updates. She and my lakeleigh are almost the same age so its fun to hear how much alike or different then are at these stages.
This time I met Natalie at a park with a beach and we made some really fun memories in the summer sun. I am obsessed with summer. In fact I am nowhere near ready for it to end. We live for moments with our girls outdoors making memories in the warm sunset and staying up past bedtime for smores, and catching lightning bugs. I will ride out that last few weeks of summer and enjoy ever last one of these days being outdoors as much as we can.
Capturing as many families outdoor in the summer sunsets in my goal through these months. Its such a beautiful time, especially for a gal like me who craves that golden hazy sunset when I am photographing outdoors. I chase the sunsets to capture memories in them, memories that will last from one summer into the next and the ones after that. Memories that you can look back on and remember the way she was just learning to form words and she toddled around ever so wobbly like. She summer she first said ” I love you mama”. Timeless memories that last a lifetime in the warm golden glow of late summer are what my photographer dreams are made of.
