Meet Quinn | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

I know I’ve told you hundreds of times how much I adore photographing these beautiful miracles, but have I ever told you why? I believe that the memories of the early days, or really any day for that matter deserves to be preserved. As a mama I know that the nights may be long but the days are short, and time with babies being tiny is fleeting. I’m passionate about capturing the little pieces of the Newborn days so that they can live on, not only in our minds and our hearts but in beautiful prints cased in distressed wooden frames, and signature albums that you can flip through again and again. Once day when they are stepping up into the big yellow school bus for the first time you will crave these memories, and while I cannot preserve the smell of their little newborn heads or they way their silky hair felt when you stroked it, I can preserve the memories of the little flaky skin on their hands, and the way their lip drooped when they got really tired, that sleepy smile, and how they fell asleep on your chest every so perfectly… those moments they could quickly be lost forever, but thats where Newborn Photography steps in and says… this one… we must remember and not just in our hearts.

Sweet Quinn was one of those little miracles that came into the studio a few weeks back, she was suck a precious doll and ohhhhhh the snuggles… they were the sweetest. I loved hearing her birth story from her mama, and the way her mama’s face lit up when I would hand her back as I got the next portrait set up prepared.
