Meet Julianna | Annapolis Newborn Photographer

Sometimes photographing a newborn and their very young siblings can be a challenge, after all the sibling is basically a baby themselves and just dont really understand the purpose of having to be still, or sitting in one spot for a while. I do my best to let them take alot of breaks and do things to keep occupied, and to laugh and have fun. If they feel comfortable they will usually listen to direction better, understand better, and cooperate to the best that they can. Again though, they are teeny tiny kids, they were just babies themselves, and actually before the newborn came who is now getting all of the attention, THEY were the baby. Bubbles, treats, cookies, coloring books, youtube video, and their favorite lovies from home are all great things to have for their session!

This little guy though, he was made for the camera.. he loved it and even got upset when it was time to leave…… ahhhh I love having children in the studio like that! He had so many questions, and told me so many stories, about firetrucks, and video games, and preschool…. I love hearing life stories through the eyes of a preschooler… life is so much more exciting for them, really.. it is!

He cared for his baby sister so well, I mean look at them, a perfect match. I’m sure there will be days in the future they wont embrace quite so well, but its evident how much he loves his new baby sister! Julianna was a dream, with such beautiful hair, I mean look at it.. I wanted to sit and stroke her hair all day… which may be because my second baby was born bald and I missed newborn head full of hair… but she was simply beautiful, I loved photographing her and her whole family!
