I had the opportunity to capture this beautiful family’s newborn portraits a few weeks ago. Mom, Dad, and big brother all came along with their new little buddy to the Newborn Portrait session. Big brother was over the moon about his new best friend. He told me all about everything that he does, how mom and dad were taking shifts through the night, and how much gaming stuff he has taught him so far.

Like most moms, she was totally ready to be in too many photos just yet, but wanted to document their new family of 4, and get an updated family portrait so we grabbed that shot and then onto my favorite…. Siblings. Can I just tell you that this big brother was a dream to work with, not only does he follow direction super well, was very patient, cared softly for his baby brother, but he was so much fun as well. He had me laughing the whole time with the funny and witty things he would say along the way. It just so happened that earlier before his family’s session I had some valentines day portraits in the studio which meant I had a bunch of left over donuts. Once I told him about those, it was like we had been best friends all of our lives. This sweet baby boy was equally as great as his big brother, sleepy, and cuddly the whole time, and snuggled up so well to his big brother! I think these two are going to be the very best of friend.
