One of the places that I really love to shoot in Downtown Annapolis Maryland. From the architecture to the history, and the heavy military presence and pride with the Naval Academy being located in the heart of the city, it’s truly a wonderful place to live, tour, and photograph. Madison and Cody’s wedding took place at the Governor Calvert House, part of the Historic Inns Of Annapolis group located on state circle in Annapolis Maryland. I love shooting at this venue, not only because its beautiful, but because its directly across from the Annapolis State House, with gorgeous grounds for portraits especially on the marble staircase.

After a morning of getting ready, a first look with Madisons father, and some portraits it was time to make her way down the Aisle, to her handsome groom awaiting her in his dress uniform.  A short and sweet service followed and then it was off to the State house to capture portraits before we lost the sunlight. It began to drizzle just  a tiny bit but another plus about photographing in downtown Annapolis at the state house is that there is a covered area that is also bright white to reflect even better light and stay dry!

After some introductions, toasts, and dinner… the two danced the night away with friends and family! It was a grand event. Cody and Madison, we loved celebrating with you and being there to capture your beautiful day!
