The morning of Katie and Brian’s wedding was so beautiful. The sun was shining, there was hardly a cloud in the sky and a nice breeze was blowing. We drove out to Frederick Maryland to meet the girls while they were getting ready, and oh my word did they look perfect! Capturing the bride with her mama was certainly a highlight and very emotional moment that day! After that we drove over to Serra Valley Farms for the wedding to take place.  The bride was pulled down to the ceremony space in a horse drawn carriage, just after the bridesmaids were brought down in a red classic truck. The ceremony was lovely, as they exchanged vows underneath of a beautiful willow tree. Instead of a unity candle the Bride and Groom decided to shoot guns together… something that is a hobby of theirs and they spend alot of time doing. Afterwords we spent some time with formal portraits, and of course used that red historic truck… and then went into the barn to party the day away. There was a gorgeous first dance, followed by parent dances that always make me pretty emotional. This father daughter dance was no different, tears fill my eyes every single time… I think because I have daughters of my own and know that one day we will be doing this same thing, but not as the photographers, but rather, the parents of the bride….

They were such a sweet couple surrounded by their best friends and family that loved them so much! Congratulations Brian and Katie thank you so much for having us there with you on your beautiful wedding day! Heres to at least 100 years of health, and happiness!!!
