I love watching families together, interacting, sharing giggles and tickles, and cuddles. Photographing families year after year is such a reminder of just how quickly children grow, and life changes. Do yourself a huge favor… take lots of photos. take them everyday. Husbands, take photos of your wife with your children, or your fur babies. Mama’s take pictures of your children, and daddies with their kiddos, and grandparents with your children… and YOU… make sure you get in the photos too. Take pictures of everyday, the way they drag their blankies across the floor, the way they twirl your hair when they are drinking a bottle, the way to sisters whisper secrets, the way a little boy watches the rain made huge puddles outside, the way you children pile around the ipad when a face time call from a deployed parent comes through and they finally get to see them again…. but make sure YOU get in the photos with your children sometimes. I have had the honor of photographing this beautiful family for many years. They are very sweet friends of mine who recently built this brand new home and were just moving in before the holidays, the perfect time to capture a lifestyle family session! I had so much fun following them around their new home as they spent time with their girls, enjoyed lots of cuddles, and more girly giggles then you could imagine…..
