Floral Cake Smash | Annapolis Family Photographer

As an Annapolis Family Photographer I love when I get the opportunity to photograph sessions and clients outdoors. The late winter early spring in Maryland doesn’t always allow for that, so we shoot indoors. Don’t get me wrong I love shooting indoors too, especially when my clients have new ideas that will make their session unique to them! When we first started talking about this cake smash session there were lots of ideas on the table, finally it was decided that this pretty little princess’s mama wanted paper flowers for a spring floral theme. I LOVE how it turned out, the portrait shots were amazing, and then it came time for some cake smashing. I love how dainty she was about. Grabbing just a small little bit at a time and barely getting any on her face. Normally we hope that our toddlers would eat this clean and not make such a mess. But, on the day of their cake smash session we hope that they make a big mess, well generally I do… but this time, the way she ate this cake, it just seemed to fit her little personality so well. While her clean cake eating was adorable, what I loved most was her smile with those tiny little teeth popping through, they made her smile just as sweet as could be! Happy Birthday sweet princess, I hope all of your dreams come true!
