I have enjoyed the honor of photographing sweet Kylies portraits since birth, starting at her Newborn portraits when she stole my heart with her incredibly full head of dark, dark hair, to her 3 month, and 6 month sessions when she could hardly be pried from her mothers arms without tears…. Ohhhhh how she loves her momma, now to her 9 month portrait session which we were able to capture outdoors. Outdoor family sessions are where the magic is at! I love shooting both in the studio and outdoors, but outdoor in the golden sunset for family portraits just cannot be matched. We met shortly before sunset at Kinder Farm Park, in an area that I simply adore for family portraits! Have you visited that park before? Well, if you live local and have kids… or even if you dont have kids, it’s worth checking out… especially now that all the animals are having their spring babies, the children love it there!
Kylie did incredible with this session, minus the grass part.. shes still isn’t quite sure how she feels about grass and if the two will become friends or not. Her big brown eyes nearly filled with tears after the grass simply touched her toes so I think we will hold off on that one for a different day.
Not surprising at all, she loved being outdoors… as long as mama was holding her, and she smiled so easily and oh my word is her smile incredible??? Yes, yes it is! I loved grabbing a few mommy and me portraits especially since Mothers Day is just around the corner! I have loved watching and documenting you as you grow Sweet Kylie… I cannot wait for your next session when you turn ONE sweet girl! Congratulations to Kylie’s mom and dad on doing an incredible job with that sweet baby, she is such a doll!
