I met Vanessa at church some time ago, in fact she was my daughters sunday school teacher for about a year. When she reached out to me about photographing her wedding I knew I had to be there, her inquiry email was incredibly heartfelt and made me so excited for her big day! She and Brian are incredibly fun to be around, easy going, laid back, all around a great couple. I loved hearing them talk about their relationship and what it meant to them and how they met, and the things that were important. This couple is starting off on a great path and has a great story to share with the world! Their engagement session was a blast, and I knew their wedding day would be unforgettable.

Upon meeting a few weeks prior to the wedding for the Private Estate venue walk through, I was impressed. I’m not sure they could have found a more perfect location that fit their style and personalities any better. A gorgeous private estate that belonged to a family member, that was right on the Chesapeake Bay, and was stunning!

The morning of their wedding I woke up to fog on my windows and in Maryland we know that only means one thing, its going to be HOT and incredibly humid… but that didnt stop this couple from having the most perfect day! Not only was the view gorgeous, the estate welcoming, the wedding perfect… but, I dont think there was a moment that I didnt see a smile on both Vanessa and Brians face!! He was always watching her, and smiling as he did. These two are so in love, and it shows.

I got to photograph the wedding with the SMP dream team, including my incredible second shooter…. who just happens to be my husband, along with my other equally incredible second shooter and wedding day assistant.. melissa who kept up running like a well oiled machine!
