Last week I had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little guy during his lifestyle newborn session. What is a lifestyle session? Unlike the studio sessions this is a little bit of a different take on the Newborn Portrait Session. You may find that it is more of a  laid back session, one that takes place at your home and involves limited posed newborn shots, while capturing more of your real life moments with your newborn. It involves natural lighting and your humble abode is the backdrop. This little guy had a super sweet big sister who was incredibly helpful and did better with her session then some adults do, she listened like a rockstar and cared for her baby brother so so well.

I love watching the interaction between siblings, its such a special bond and very different from that of a mother or a father, obviously, its just magical to watch a tiny person love another tiny person in such a giant way. They instantly transform from the position of the baby in the family, to one who cares for, and watches over the new baby.

Just like his big sister this little man handles his lifestyle newborn session like a pro, it was like he had been practicing for weeks! He even gave us a few smiles in between the little naps he was enjoying. And oh my to see his cozy with his mama was just breathtaking.
