During this very rainy fall wedding season, the SMP girls traveled down to a familiar venue, Matapeake State Park to capture a beautiful wedding. Lauren and Josh had a beautiful outdoor ceremony that family and friends traveled from near and far to attend. Also in attendance were some unwanted storm clouds. A groomsman reassured us rain was off the radar so we hoped for the best, but were still prepared with umbrellas and rain boots. To our surprise, the rain held off not only long enough for the happy couple to exchange their vows and partake in their wedding ceremony traditions, but for the entire reception as well! It was even more surprising when those dark clouds rolled away and opened up with a breathtaking backdrop for waterside photos! The bride and groom were stunning and wore their newlywed love well!  As the night grew darker the friends and family of the New Mr. & Mrs. gathered under a beautiful, lighted tent for toasts, dinner and dancing. MorganWilliamsDJ really kept the crowd engaged and busy on the dance floor!

Despite the threat of rainy weather, the day turned out absolutely beautiful and the images are spectacular! The team absolutely loved capturing this wedding and wish the Batucans’s the best of luck and a whole lotta love! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. B!
