Annapolis Family Photographer | Superhero family

Who said superhero’s are just men? I can tell you that for sure is not true.. I have met and photographed an entire superhero family, think “the incredibles” but cooler… like if the incredibles needed to pose as another family they would choose this family. The girls couldnt be any cuter, and full of questions and statements that had me laughing all night. When we first started talking about a super hero shoot, I wasn’t even sure what I was doing, growing up with a sister, and now having a daughter of my own we do alot with princesses, and some super heros, but not too much. we talked about a phone booth, or a graffiti wall, then finally decided on a rooftop parking garage, only to find out the rooftop was closed. Oddly enough, for once I am glad that my original plan was ruined, b/c shooting inside of the parking garage was WAY better! There we no cars, no traffic, and I could really control the light alot better, and what super hero doesnt have a grungy warehouse or parking garage scene right?

The girls showed up in great outfits, as did mom and dad, and we got right to it. We laughed, and pretended, and came up with new ideas. It was a pleasure photographing this family again, especially with a whole new idea and a concept that their family really enjoyed and made their portraits so unique! I look forward to many more opportunities in the future to photograph this super family again, I cant wait to see what ideas they have for next time!
