McKenzie was my first Newborn of 2017, and oh my was she a dream, the perfect way to ring in a new year of a studio full of beautiful babies!

I had a lovely time photographing sweet McKenzie and her parents! I always love to hear the excitement from brand new parents as they tell me about all of their first experiences with all things parent related. They tell me about the first time the new baby smiled in its sleep, and how much they can hold their head up, the coos and sounds they are making now, and how long they can sleep through the night.. its always special to hear how much they are loving this! McKenzies parents were they same, just completely in love with their new roles as mom and dad, and excited to talk about their daughter and dream about their future with her and the things she might do!

McKenzie was such a good baby, very peaceful and enjoyed being wrapped up nice and snugly! Her mama brought along the cutest little set of Angel wings and a matching headband that looked quite heavenly on this brand new baby girl. We worked our way through her newborn individual portraits and then onto her family portraits, which, she protested just a bit then snuggled into mom and dad! What a darling girl she is an a joy she was to photograph, I look forward to seeing her again in the future!
